New England Gaffer

Fabio Capello toured Wembley last night with Barwick, adding to the rampant speculation that he would become the new England manager. It looks as if he took the gig.

Pretty good choice, I think. Perhaps, as an 'outsider' he'll actually put together the finest side he sees. There are plenty players to pick from. Agbonlahor and Bentley come to my immediate attention. On the other hand Michael Owen is done for me. He doesn't belong on the National side.

UPDATE: FA give Capello approval for appointment.
