Transfer Deadline
The transfer deadline is coming up quick...where will the moves be?
- Daniel Alves
- Adriano
- Berbatov (I think we know where he's going...not to mention, him and Tevez...fuggedabowdit!) I hate that! Not to mention I think Beratov is one of the finest strikers in Premiership history. He's just got it. I cannot explain it. So does our recently retired Ole Gunnar Soljskear. Both of them have a gift for the goal. One wasn't utilized as he should have been, but he did make his mark.
- Ronaldinho

Rafa Speaks Again...
This time Rafael Benitez had something to say about Roy Keane. It was positive though.
Benitez said:
'I knew him as a player and he has become a good manager. 'It was amazing last season. To be in the bottom of the league and get promotion, it was really good. 'Roy Keane needs time, maybe in five years we will see, but already he looks something special. He is good now but he could be great.'
Now, let's wait and see what he has to say tomorrow afternoon.

Sir Alex Ferguson Blows Some More Smoke
Sir Alex says, "Dis ain't over yet, yeh"
Since I'm short on time, I'll let the fiver do the commenting:
The MU Rowdies are investigating Liverpool's role in the Gabriel Heinze affair. "We are looking at Liverpool's whole role in this," said Lord Ferg. "We are not letting them off with it. That is what we are investigating." He'll know what signs to look for, you can be sure of that.
Gotta love that last bit!

QPR in Bright Orange?
Renault's Formula 1 boss, Flavio Briatore, is interested in Queens Park Rangers.
Here is how 'The Fiver' put it:
Bright orange Renault formula one team boss Flavio Briatore is planning a £22m bid for Queens Park Rangers. "It is like Cipriani [a restaurant he owns in Mayfair], I do not go in the kitchen to cook the food," he said. "I occasionally go there to eat, and with QPR I will occasionally go to a match. Nothing more." Why doesn't he just buy a ticket, then? Eh?

The Scoop
Everton have agreed to a £11.25M move with Middlesbrough for Yakubu.
Sevilla are set to keep Daniel Alves again this season. I mean, who can blame him? They are a decent side and Seville is a lovely place to live. It's a no brainer. But watch, just as I write this Manchester United will come in with a whopping bid for him. Time will tell.
In the meantime, Sevilla gaffer, Juande Ramos, was offered a 'dizzying' offer from Tottenham Hotspur, after their atrocious start to the season...they did beat Derby though. They also have to play Manchester United this weekend.
Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly going to bid for Juan Roman Riquelme. I'm not too sure he's built for the Premiership though. Fantastic player, just not for the English game.
Sven is going to up the offer for Australian/Palermo midfielder Mark Bresciano this week.
